Aloitamme kliseellä; kylläpäs se aika rientää! Tottahan tuo on. Pätkämme täytti eilen jo kolme vuotta ja juhlistimme sitä kakkukutsuin. Sankari halusi ensin siilinkakun, mutta yhtäkkiä mieli muuttuikin ja kakussa piti olla kaivuri. Hain kaupasta pikkuisen kippiauton, puskutraktorin ja tietysti kaivurin. Kakun päällä ne kasaavat karkkeja. Värikkäitä metsäneläinkeksejä teimme kahden synttärisankarin kanssa.
Koristukset olivat pitkälti samat kuin viime vuonna. Puoliska toi tuliaisina Amerikasta hunajakellopalloja. Olen niihin aivan ihastunut. Yritin niitä netistäkin tilata, mutta postikulut olisivat olleet kerrassaan törkeät Atlantin tälle puolen, että jäivät ostamatta.
Tänä vuonna tein ensimmäistä kertaa myös synttärikyselyn. Se pitää muistaa toistaa joka vuosi, niin näkee miten ajatusmaailma muuttuu. Nappasin haastattelun myös nauhalle. Tässä muutamia vastauksia:

This time I'll start with a cliché which is so true: time really flies by! Our son turned already three yesterday and we had a little party to celebrate it. First the birthday boy wanted a hedgehog cake then out of the blue he decided he wanted a digger cake. I bought a little truck, tractor and a digger and put them on top of the cake with some m&m's. The colorful animal cookies I made together with the little boy.
Decorations for the party are largely the same as last year. My hubby brought me some honeycomb balls from his trip to the States. I'm so in love with them. I tried to order some online but the postage fees would have been so enormous that I didn't click the "Send order" button.
First time I also made a birthday interview. I have to remember to do this every year so one can see how the little mind develops. I also recorded the interview so he can listen to it when his bigger. Here are few questions and answers.
